CREATE SHORTCUTS TO SAP TRANSACTIONS

1. Navigate to a transaction.
2. Click on the Generates a Shortcut button on the Standard Toolbar. Its the 3rd to last button from the end of the toolbar.
   
3. In the Create New SAP Shortcut dialog window, 

1. • The Title field will be the name of the shortcut,
   • The Location field lets you designate where the shortcut will be saved; to the Desktop,SAP Logon, or a folder location on your computer or network.

Shortcuts that are saved on the desktop, or a location other than the SAP Logon Pad, will have the extension .SAP.  You can rename the shortcut, but if you take the .SAP extension off of the name, your shortcut will not work.  If you accidentally delete it, you can add it back by editing the shortcut name. This only applies if your shortcut extensions are displayed.  A Windows setting determines if your extensions are displayed. Source: www.sapinsight.com
